If you are interested in becoming a Boosters board member, a committee chair or a volunteer in another capacity, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. You are able to volunteer for as many committees or projects that interest you most. If you don’t see an activity or a committee that would bring value to our school, please do not hesitate to contact us, but keep in mind we are all parent volunteers. Foremost, we would really love to have help from a parent volunteer who is an accountant who can serve with the Boosters’ Treasurer or act as an advisor/liaison to Boosters to ensure our ledger remains flawless for audits.
We hope every family becomes a Boosters member. The basic annual membership fee is only $50 for the 2012-2013 school year per family. We are advised that the IRS treats as tax-deductible nominal dues payments to charitable organizations like BASIS Phoenix Boosters that do not provide substantial goods and services in exchange. However, you should consult your tax advisor for professional advice. This membership level gives you the following benefits: reduced pricing for lunch, a complimentary student directory, reduced pricing for school events, reduced pricing of items from the school store (i.e., t-shirts and other merchandise), voting privileges for the Boosters Board elections, ability to chair Booster committees and/or become a Boosters board member.
